Pays d'Auge is a special area within Normandy that delimitates, for its soil and quality of cider apples, the very best area of Calvados. In addition, the traditional double distillation process used to collect the spirit from the skin and pulp of apples is the only one qualifying for the Calvados Pays d'Auge AOC appellation. |
